Manucho Goncalves
Manucho brings extensive professional experience from top clubs across Europe. He began his European journey signed by Manchester United in England, where he trained with world-class players before gaining match experience on loan at Panathinaikos in Greece and Hull City in the English Premier League. He then moved to Real Valladolid in Spain, where he played several seasons in La Liga, followed by loan spells at Bucaspor and Manisaspor in Turkey. Later in his career, he played for Rayo Vallecano in Spain and UE Cornellà before retiring

Kyle Bowman
Kyle brings both dedication and experience to our club’s leadership team.
“Soccer has always been important to me,” Kyle shares. “. For me, soccer is not only a way to stay active and have fun but also an opportunity to connect with friends, relieve stress, and continue learning. One of my greatest joys is supporting my son as he embarks on his own soccer journey.”
Kyle’s deep love for the sport, combined with his commitment to community and youth development, makes him a vital part of Maine Legends FC’s mission to foster growth, teamwork, and passion for the game at all levels.

Lizzy Vasconcelo brings extensive experience to the club with a strong background in Business Administration and Sports Management. He contributes valuable expertise in operations, strategic planning, and player relations. Lizzy is also a licensed soccer agent, certified by Sports Management Worldwide, adding a high level of professionalism and industry knowledge that strengthens the club’s structure and long-term vision.

Mawete Júnior is a former professional soccer player who played for clubs such as SL Benfica, SC Braga, Olivais e Moscavide (Portugal), Hamrun Spartans (Malta), and FC Cabinda (Angola). His career across multiple countries gave him strong international experience.

Coach Mena brings valuable professional coaching experience to our organization. Having led top Angolan clubs such as Sporting de Cabinda and Kabuscorp, he has a deep understanding of high-level football development, tactical training, and player growth. His leadership and commitment to excellence have helped teams compete at strong levels, while also nurturing young talent and fostering teamwork, discipline, and resilience. Coach Mena’s experience in professional environments strengthens our coaching philosophy and elevates the standard of play and mentorship we offer.

Director of Impact Programming, Yannick leads the development of community-focused initiatives within our soccer club. He oversees programs that use soccer as a tool for youth development, equity, and inclusion, ensuring our club creates meaningful impact both on and off the field. Yannick’s work helps connect high-level football with mentorship, opportunity, and positive outcomes for the communities we serve.
